Tuesdays are our becoming one of our favourite days because that’s when we get to have our dance lessons with Kelly.
Today was particularly tough because we were learning some new exercises to help us really stretch our muscles but we persevered!
We love the Street Dance sequence we have been learning. There’s some great moves and great attitude. Just wait until it’s finished and we’ll upload a video of the final performance.

Kelly has visited school weekly this year delivering Dance lessons to Year 3 and 4 and now year 5 and 6. After Easter she will be working with children in Puffins and Penguins. This is building on the lessons they did with her last year ensuring progression in dance. Staff have also had the opportunity to be mentored by Kelly so that they are able to deliver high quality dance lessons in the future.
I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Kelly for many years and watched both her pupils dance on the stage in venues such as Leeds and watching her own performances. It is great to have a home grown local talent sharing her success in dance in school.
