Children in Year 5/6 used two different painting techniques to produce some stunning space art. The first, was gently splattering white paint into black paper. The second, was using a wash and dry brush technique to blend paint to create multicoloured, striped patches on white paper. Once the paint was dry, children used a compass to draw a circles on the multicoloured areas. These were then cut out and arranged onto the clack paper. The result is very striking.
