Computing in Year 3/4 (Networks)

In Years 3 and 4 the children have begun to learn the names of devices on a computer network.  Thanks to Mr Rowland, small groups are being taken round the school with the aim of locating our server, WiFi points, Ethernet switches, firewall equipment, printers, and devices that connect to our network such as laptops, PCs, iPads and Kindles.  They will later begin to to learn how the internet is also a computer network.

  1. They certainly have been busy. More vocabulary some of which I am sure will be new to some adults! Perhaps these children can tell us all about these devices.
