Harvest Festival – All Saints Church 21.10.2021

The performance this morning was terrific. Thank you to all of the pupils, staff, families and the church. Hambleton Foodshare have sent a letter of thanks for your generous donations. We raised £100 at the cake sale which we donated to Foodshare too.

  1. I just wanted to say thank you for bringing the school to All Saints to celebrate Harvest. For me personally it was delightful to see a whole school with all the children and staff working as a community and with lots of involvement from the children.
The two readers did very well, and I enjoyed the different parts played by each year group. Please do pass on my appreciation to the staff.
I hope, despite the pressures of fitting everyone in, you and the staff found it worthwhile.
If you want to do anything at church during Advent, please do get in touch with myself, Fiona or Donneta (who I knows has contact with the RE lead).
We are always happy to assist in any way we can, in church and in school.

I hope you enjoy the new term.
    Peace,
    Claire

  2. Dear Headteacher, Staff, Parents and Children

We are writing to say a HUGE thank you for the generous donations of food gathered during your Harvest time. Every item will go to help those in need in our communities and without such gifts we would not be able to offer such help. It is a sad fact that we are still very much needed, having given out on average 240 food parcels each month. Recently we have seen an even larger surge in demand and so we are grateful for the money you raised via your bakesale as well as it will help us to buy shortage items.

Should you require any further information about our service, please see our website and follow us on facebook.

    Best wishes to all.

    Kindest regards

  3. It felt very special to be able to celebrate harvest in All Saints again. The atmosphere was lovely and the children’s contributions were fabulous. Well done Applegarth!
