This week we took our knowledge of circuits to a new level and spent the afternoon building burglar alarms that included a pressure pad. It took quite a lot of tinkering but we persevered to create some successful circuits. Some children even included a switch so that the alarm system could be switched on when leaving the house and switched off upon returning. Some of us even tried to include a light in order to alert others of a break in.
