Bonjour to Toulouse from Applegarth! πŸ‡«πŸ‡·πŸ“šβœ¨

This morning, Y3/4 children met their French classmates for the first time via Teams! Lots of questions were asked, including the length of our lunchtimes (theirs is two hours long!) and whether Applegarth children liked how the children in Toulouse were in casual clothes, not uniform. It was so interesting to see how similar and different our classrooms were and to say a happy β€˜Bonjour!’ to them all.
Thank you to Isla, Mrs Cross’ daughter for assisting with translating too! We finished by wishing everyone β€˜Joyeux Paques’ (Happy Easter). What a wonderful experience! πŸ‡«πŸ‡·βœ¨
