After their time with the Honeybees and Bumblebees on Monday, the Year 6 children were inspired to write stories for them. Using the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee as the theme, the Year 6 pupils worked in pairs and small groups to create short stories and comic strips for the reception children. On Thursday and Friday, the Y6s spent time with their reception friends, reading and sharing the stories. The Y6s wrote stories about lost corgis, teleporting guards, magical crowns and so much more! Everyone had a fantastic time and Y6 have already had some interesting requests for new stories from the reception children.
