Today we started drafting our first piece of writing this school year- a setting description of a Stone Age camp. We read the book Stone Age Boy and have collected, vocabulary linked to the senses, verbs (after performing some drama in the wildlife area) and adjectives. We then connected to write expanded noun phrases and sentences using verb openers. Today was our create session. Next week, will edit and publish our work. Watch this space for the end result.
