Year 6 were very excited to virtually meet with a team of HMS Hood experts this afternoon. The children thought very carefully about the questions they wanted to ask, which led to a wonderful conversation about the Hood, its history and the lives of the many men that served on it during its commission.
It was a real privilege to meet up with the evidently bright and talented students at Applegarth Primary School and their dedicated and enthusiastic teachers. A gathering to remember!
