Today, our very first reading bag winners were announced in our celebration assembly. 11 lucky children across school were selected by their class teacher to take home Fable’s Story Bag. Over the night five nights they will get to enjoy snuggles with Fable along with a blanket, hot chocolate and a scrap book to log their reading for the rest of their class to see. The new reading bags were personally delivered to the children this afternoon by members of our Reading Squad.
The children who were picked had read at least three times at home this week (and recorded it in their homework diaries), worked hard in their reading lessons in school and some had even gone the extra mile by accessing Reading Eggs or recording their reading on Seesaw! Superstars!
Next week, Plato will join Fable and every class will have 2 reading winners!
