The children are really engaging with our ‘Marvellous Machines’ project and using a wide range of resources to enhance their knowledge of machines. Children have been learning to: compare electric and hand powered whisks to make bubbles; notice changes between olden day vehicles and more modern ones; use screwdrivers to tighten and loosen screws into wood; build simple circuits with electrical components; subtilise with tyres, create robot art with loose parts and build impressive train tracks, leading to familiar places, such as zoos.
