Children in Year 3/4 had a wonderful few days with a visiting Roman from nearby Murton Park. They listened carefully to his version of the events of AD 43 and how everyday Romans lived. Children learned about the weapons that were used and how lives in the Roman army could be tough, especially in cold and rainy Britannia! A super day, consolidating our plethora of Roman knowledge so far!
