We are very excited to show you new timelines that have been specially made to support learning across the school, from EYFS to Year 6!
Timelines show significant events, eras or people that have been studied in each year group, and also include learning from previous years, helping our children to make connections, track back and forward and consolidate what they know already. In addition, history units are now supported by smaller timelines that show the chronology of key events within the era or focus period. Children have been enthralled and have been enthusiastically questioning what they can see, especially if eras or civilisations overlap.
Well done, budding historians, for always asking questions and seeking ways to enhance their understanding of chronology.
