It takes a lot to impress the staff at Carlton, because they work with groups week in week out. One of our pupils managed though – when firing her arrow during our archery session she managed to whizz past the target board, through a tiny gap in the safety netting at the back. This in itself was pretty impressive, but imagine our surprise when we went to investigate and found the arrow lodged in a tree 7m away right on the perimeter of the site! Well done!
The rest of us weren’t quite such natural talents but we did enjoy having a go!
Oh my goodness. What a result.
