Printing Anglo Saxon patterns

The children made printing pads from string and card and then used metallic paint to print their patterns to paper. They had great fun experimenting how to get the best print. Did more paint do the trick? Or was did how the paint was applied make a difference?

  1. The best artists are those that think creatively and have been the opportunity to experiment and try out their ideas. The Gaudi’s, Corbusier and Renzo Piano architects would not have have been able to create such diverse buildings without the freedom to experiment and the opportunities to learn about artists. I am delighted that our children in Applegarth are still given these opportunities. Yesterday I was delighted to see the outcomes of our talented artists in our lunchtime art club. I know Mrs Bramley our Art Subject Leader has great plans to display the pupils work.
We will be posting photos of this work for everyone to see.
