Puffins and Penguins learnt about the story of How the Tortoise got its Shell this week in our reading session. They’re really getting to grips with the idea of using evidence from the text to answer questions. They’ve also said that having a read of the text at home before the lesson is very helpful. Thank you to parents and carers for your ongoing support with this!
Here is an example of some of the questions they were asked about the text. A few went one stage further and wrote an alternative ending. We then reflected on the session during our ReflectED lesson.
