It was very chilly for forest school. We could see our own breath. Mrs Burrell questioned why this was happening. A child said “it is because it is cold out here and our breath is much warmer so it’s like steam”.
We played a game of compass points corners. We learnt north, east, south and west. We sang nursery rhymes while our friends made their decision. It was only when someone was stood in the west compass point that we noticed the aliens spaceship up the tree!!!
It had a ladder so we knew she must be in the wildlife area somewhere. We went on a hunt to find our alien friend. We searched high and low (after building up our confidence with climbing) behind things, under rocks and then someone suddenly shouted “I’ve found her tent over here!”
We were all very excited so we decided to write Beegu little notes and we even made her some delicious food for when she returned.
I wonder when will Beegu appear again?
The children are loving this story 😀
