Puffins and Penguins have had fun today for Number Day in aid of the NSPCC. We really enjoyed the ‘How many Jelly Beans?’ giant book, even counting the jelly beans in the pictures to check they were the right amount although we didn’t count the million jelly beans! Their guesses were close but well done to Daniel in Penguins for guessing the correct amount of jelly beans in the school estimation jar and well done to Ella in Puffins to being so close with her guess for the class competition.
Great work Puffins and Penguins. Lots of practical maths activities with real jellybeans. I wonder if any were subtracted during your working out?! Super number day non uniform too:)
