The Y2 Penguins had a fantastic morning learning how to build watertight, solid dens and then enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the campfire. David commented on the children’s communication skills, teamwork, resilience and perseverance after all the teams successfully built their dens. I was very proud of their listening skills and we thoroughly enjoyed the morning. Well done to all the children and thank you to Mrs Mitchell for organising David to come and work with them.
What a brilliant morning! The pupils were so excited to be learning in the outdoors and catching up on some of the experiences they missed because of lockdowns. Well done to all the pupils for your enthusiastic participation and the staff for organising. Thanks for the post, Mrs Crossley:)
