After watching yesterday’s newsround, Year 6 passionately talked about what has been happening with the Government this week. Several of the children confidently articulated their opinions around different ministers stepping down and the key topic of newsround – should Boris Johnson resign? After our post-newsround discussion had ended, the children were to keen to get a live update .We switched to BBC News Live where the children learned that Boris Johnson would be making his resignation statement at 12:30pm. Many of the children opted to stay in the classroom at lunchtime to watch his resignation live.
