A super time was had by our Year 3/4 children who spent the day exploring maps, spotting contour lines and developing their understanding of four figure grid references.
Mark Holmes and Hermione from the Tees-Swale Trust visited classrooms and children were shown how useful different maps can be, how we use keys and then how to locate features.
A wonderful, hands-on day where all children demonstrated what enquiring geographers they were!
