We have a talented bunch of coders this term at Code Club and lots of children have developed their programming skills using software called Scratch. This week we incorporated physical computing into our sessions by teaching the children how to program a small computer called a Micro:bit. The children used block programming to code a beating heart and messages through the LED interface. They all really enjoyed themselves.
