Mrs Raymond kindly brought in two of her pets today so the Penguins and Puffins could describe and compare the structure of a dog and a guinea pig. The children were very keen to talk about their own pets and share their knowledge of animal groups, what they ate and what they needed to survive with her. Maisie is our Pets As Therapy dog at school and she loves to listen to children read! Jammy Dodger is a red eyed albino guinea pig with a huge appetite!
It’s wonderful for the pupils to see real animals when making comparisons in Science. Thank you Mrs Raymond (I’ll come and say hello to Maisie on Friday).
