Tanya Bentham, local historian, was keen to show Y3/4 what clothing was worn at the end of the Stone Age/ the beginning of the Bronze Age. They were cut out in squares or rectangles and sown together. At this time, people were starting to use cloth but hadn’t got round to dyeing it different colours.

I am sure that the children had a super time today. Thanks for organising the special visitor and to our PTA for helping to fund the visit.
