Rowling Class were set the challenge of putting themselves into groups, using equipment and composing a fun game that involved teamwork and coordination. Some great games were played and teams taught each other. To finish, we all played one of the games which was explained clearly by team members and involved a shark…! Help!
What a great idea. It’s lovely to see the children creating their own games or adapting original ones and adding their own challenges. Child-led learning throughout school!
Dinosaurs and now sharks? is Applegarth becoming a haven for all animals? I believe there are stick insects in a classroom and some of our children’s homes and Maise our Therapy dog is making extra visits for our Y6 pupils this week.
I’m also hearing whispers about some new visitors likely to be joining us outside later this term.
