It’s been a week like no other. First, on Monday afternoon a spacecraft crashed right outside our school. The children in Bees were the first on the scene, looking for evidence of alien activity. They observed the remains of the spaceship and began predicting what might have happened.

The following day we received a message from Q Pootle 5 who urgently required our help.

The events have inspired the children to try a range of activities from acting out stories in the role play area, building their own spaceships, playing maths games linked with space to writing posters and preparing plans on how to capture an alien. It’s been a busy week.
Wow! Just wow!
Amazing!!!! Max hasn’t stopped talking about it all week! What an absolutely fabulous experience!
What a fantastic topic. Thank you for putting so much effort in to the children’s learning. Freddie absolutely loved being an alien today!
An out of this world week I’d call it!
A Pootle’s message made sure all our bees knew our recent visitor was friendly and most likely scared herself.
Jack loved this week so much
Blake has talked nonstop about the alien that escaped. He had thoroughly enjoyed this week. Thank you
Awesome. Ingrid thought it was the best day ever. Loved the idea
This has been such a good week in Bees and again a big thank you to the staff for putting so much work into the detail which brought the theme to life. The children have really enjoyed looking at different ways of thinking and learning about space and aliens and have produced some super work!
I can’t believe I missed the spaceship landing. I am glad the children in Bees could tell me all about it.
Harry has not stopped talking about this! A lot of effort has clearly gone in to it all well done
