Galileo class used plaque disclosing tablets to find out just how clean their teeth were. Red staining was new plaque and blue was older plaque. Children found out that any blue staining was on their back teeth. With this in mind, children then had to brush their teeth again trying brush all of the staining away. We were all surprised how hard we had to concentrate when brushing our teeth.
