Another 25 children from year 5 and 6 represented the school at a sportshall athletics event at the Leisure Centre. There were A LOT of nerves but once settled the children really enjoyed the experience. Some of the children said they were very nervous but Brooke summed it up brilliantly by adding ‘when you could hear everyone shouting your name you felt safe and wanted to do well’. The children were rewarded for their perseverance and talent by finishing 3rd overall and receiving a bronze medal each.
