In maths this week the children in Bees have been learning about length and height. We’ve been comparing the length of different objects and using words such as taller, shorter and longer when talking about what we’ve found. Some children have enjoyed measuring shoe sizes and drawn around each other to measure how tall they are.
I’ve been hearing all about the length of everyone’s feet I’m Interested to know whose were the longest!
Mine were actually. 14 cubes long according to Finley!
I’m so glad the children are talking about their learning at home. It gives them a chance to reflect and consolidate their learning. Explaining learning to others demonstrates mastery.
