There was MUCH excitement upstairs this afternoon when we introduced our new plan to get the children active and moving! Thanks to Mrs Hughes for sharing “Go Noodle” with us, a brilliant site which has lots of dance and movement videos to follow. Today we learnt “Banana Banana Meatball” which helped the children to learn movement patterns and develop their gross motor skills whilst having a lot of fun at the same time! We apologise in advance to any parents who are driven mad this weekend by the catchy tune, but at least it makes a refreshing change from Baby Shark!
It is good to see the children enjoying the movements. They certainly look to be showing some of those effective learning characteristics they were talking about last week.
