Our Year 3/4 pupils had a real treat today as a local historian came in to teach us about the Stone Age. We listened to stories, dressed up in Stone Age clothing, found out about hunter gatherers, held different tools and ground grain into flour using a quern stone. The children were mesmerised and it gave us an exciting insight into prehistoric life.
What a fabulous day. The children learnt so much. Don’t forget to check against your ‘knowledge organiser’ and think about the new vocabulary you learnt today.
