Bees visit the chickens

Mrs Searle and a team of helpers have looked after the chickens so well over the holiday and the chickens have really grown. A big thank you to everyone who has helped with the chickens.

Mrs Searle checks and feeds the chickens everyday and the children were very intrigued to know what she does. So we decided to accompany her. We enjoyed looking at the chickens and giving them a little bit of food.

If anyone would like to help Mrs Searle look after the chickens on a weekend then please speak to either Mrs Searle or at the office.

It would be lovely to hear what your child thought of the experience. We are awaiting the exciting arrival of an egg but we will let you know what it happens.

  1. The children were fascinated to see them and asked lots of questions about them. They all touched them very gently and are hoping they will lay us some eggs soon.
