Children across school have had the opportunity to visit the County Records Office. The staff there prepared a number of workshops and tours to support our learning in heritage week. Children in Year 3/4 dressed as evacuees and learnt about how Northallerton managed to accommodate 7500 evacuees during WW2. It was an opportunity to learn about history using a number of different sources.
A week of really interesting, engaging topics and visits for the children to help them learn more about the history of the area. Thank you to all the staff who supported this and well done to the budding historians across the school.
