Year 3/4 children have started their exploration of the names of fruits in French by working in pairs to match pictures and labels as accurately as they could. The cognates (words which sound similar in French and English) were completed first then some magpie-ing was done to complete the remainder. The children then used their working memory in different ways to quiz each other! What a challenge and great to see such teamwork! Très bien, Y3/4!
