We are very lucky to have Paul Sturgess visiting our school today to do basketball workshops with the children. We started the day with a whole school assembly where he told us all about his life and career with the Harlem Globetrotters in America. He has been awarded the Guinness world record for the tallest professional basketball player in the world and has now been recognised as Britain’s tallest man, at 7ft 7.26 inches. More recently, he has taken up acting in Avatar 2, Doctor Who and Deadpool. Each class has had a workshop with Paul and we have loved inviting him into our school.
