As part of their history unit about ‘Changes in Toys’, Y1/2 children will be looking at the changes that have occurred through time, with a particular focus on Lego. To compliment this, Mr Garnham (Mrs Cross’ brother) visited school with a HUGE Lego model of the battlecruiser, HMS Hood. Children sketched the model, looking at the parts that they would construct, then started building the keel.
He will return to school in March, at the end of the unit when the model will be completed. Thank you so much for your time, Mr Garnham.
