On Tuesday, pupils in Reception took a walk to Maxwells of Northallerton to learn about electrical devices used in the home. Our project this half term is ‘Marvellous Machines’ and this experience helped the children learn about how different machines work and their job in the home. They thoroughly enjoyed pressing different buttons and learning new vocabulary such as volume, motor and thermometer. Thank you to Mark and the staff for being welcoming making it a memorable visit!
