Forest Friday 19.01.18

It was a wonderful day for Forest Friday.  The snow was in perfect condition for making snowmen and provided a great canvas for using paint brushes and squirty bottles to add a bit of colour!  Unfortunately,  Professor Slime had been up to his old tricks and captured some of our cuddly friends.  One poor monkey was trapped on the icy pond and a bear and his friends were stuck in a basket up a tree.  The children had to find the correct numbered key to unlock the rope and release them.   It was a good job our superhero children were on hand to save the day!

  1. What a great day for forest school, I’m so pleased the toys were saved they must have been getting quite cold and some super powers must have been used to make that snow man he was enormous!! Well done

  2. Another example of great planning and taking advantage of what is happening around us. The change in weather was taken as a real opportunity to learn more about science, geography, working together and to continue their work on superheros. Tasks required children to work with others to ‘rescue’ their soft toys.
